The Lives We Rarely Notice is an interactive durational performance that will take place in the park Passeio Público from 10:00-14:00 on Saturday, November 23, 2019, as part of the 14th Bienal Internacional de Arte Contemporaneá de Curitiba . This performance will be a deliberately slow four-hour walk, crouching and sometimes crawling through the park to investigate all the other life that we overlook as we hurry through our lives. There are a myriad of entities that live alongside us, who we don’t take the time to really see – other creatures, insects, plants, lichen, earth and stone. As I discover and record what I see, I will invite others to join me in examining the beauty of the tiny, the minute and the microscopic world around us.
